Merry Christmas

We are excited to celebrate Christmas with you this weekend, and have a beautiful service planned! We’re expecting large crowds, so thank you for coming prepared and ready to prioritize all of our guests. Please look over the schedule and service details below:

Christmas Message: As He Promised - Reed Moore

Candles: 

  • Greeters will be passing out candles to guests at the hallway doors 

  • Kids’ battery: candles are available in baskets in the vestibules for pre-school-aged children only- we will not have enough candles for every child 

  • Ushers: You’ll help light each end of the aisle with a candle. We will radio you all when the moment comes to light the candles.

  • There will be white cardboard boxes for guests to return their candles after each service as they leave 

  • Greeters: Please bring your candle baskets to the store room to reload for the following service. Please don’t refill baskets in the hallways or vestibules.  

  • Ushers: please collect any leftover candles in the chairs in between services, then bring the white cardboard boxes for used candles to the Gallery and go through the candles to sort for the next service 

 
 

Handout: We have a post-service handout for guests that Greeters will pass out
Photo Booth: Christmas photo booths will be available in every seating area
Additional Seating: We anticipate needing additional seating areas for Christmas Eve. We will seat people in the following priority order:

1 - Auditorium

2 - Student Building, Gallery, and Theater (once the auditorium is getting close to full)

3 - Hallways and Starting Point rooms (only if absolutely necessary)

We are asking you to arrive 65 minutes before your scheduled service. People will arrive extra early since it’s Christmas and we want to be ready to greet them and be in positions 40-minutes before the service begins. So please allow extra time to park, arrive in Volunteer Central, connect with your captain, and grab some food from our Christmas Charcuterie spread.  More detailed times and information is shown below:

1:00 p.m. Team Schedule

  • 11:55 a.m. - Arrive to Volunteer Central/Team Meeting

  • 12:10 p.m. - Team Huddles

  • 12:20 p.m. - In Positions

  • 1:00 p.m. - Service begins

    • 1:50 p.m. - Ushers on standby for candles

  • 1:50 p.m. - Everyone return to positions

  • 2:03 p.m. - Dismissed

3:00 p.m. Team Schedule

  • 1:55 p.m. - Arrive to Volunteer Central/Team Meeting

  • 2:10 p.m. - Team Huddles

  • 2:20 p.m. - In Positions

  • 3:00 p.m. - Service begins

    • 3:50 p.m. - Ushers on standby for candles

  • 3:50 p.m. - Everyone return to positions

  • 4:03 p.m. - Dismissed

5:00 p.m. Team Schedule

VOLUNTEER REMINDERS

  1. 2026 ROTATIONS: Our 2026 volunteer rotation magnets will be ready in early January in Volunteer Central. We will continue our bi-weekly schedule into 2026.

    • Rotation 1 - January 4, 2026

    • Rotation 2 - January 11, 2026

  2. NO SERVICES: We will not have services on Sunday, December 28. 

PRAYER WALK: Join us on Thursday, January 1 at 10:00 a.m. for the New Year’s Day Prayer Walk around the church. Bundle up!
